Timothy Nolan will present a window installation in a show titled “Lift”. Using vinyl window application that is used in lettering for signs Nolan cuts the vinyl into geometric shapes that is then applied to walls or in the case of this installation large windows.  These window face the outside of the “Blue Whale” the large blue building at the Pacific Design Center creating a subtle yet intriguing juxtapositioning with the dramatic architecture of the Cesar Pelli’s designed building.

Tim has created numerous installations in this manner including recent works at the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and at LAX (Los Angeles Airport Terminal 2.
